Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of CivilDesign AI, operated by Gueridon LLC ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

2. The service

CivilDesign AI provides software tools for civil-engineering work. The outputs it generates are informational drafts intended for review by a qualified, licensed professional. They are not final engineering work product and are not a substitute for professional judgment.

3. Professional responsibility

You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and — where applicable — stamping any work you produce with the help of the service. Nothing the service outputs constitutes engineering, legal, or professional advice, and use of it does not create a professional relationship with us. You must not rely on any output without independent professional review.

4. Your account

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Enable two-factor authentication where offered. Tell us promptly at support@civildesign.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the service unlawfully; upload content you don't have the right to use; attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the service or its security; reverse engineer it; or use it to build a competing product. You retain ownership of the content you submit and grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service and generate your requested outputs.

6. Plans, billing, and cancellation

The Consultant plan is billed through Stripe on a recurring basis and may be canceled at any time from your account; cancellation stops future charges and is not retroactive. City and County plans are provided under a separate written order and invoiced. Fees are exclusive of taxes. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we may modify or discontinue features.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular use.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; data handling follows our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; we'll revise the effective date above, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
